Imperial Bunker

My first scenery piece, made circa 1990. Mike was undertaking his first experiments with foamcore and I asked him if I could have some of his offcuts and made this bunker from them and a few bits of cereal box. The basic structure was painted with PVA glue, textured with sand and painted grey and drybrushed white to give a "concrete" look.

The model is a little under-sized but still serves to represent the entrance to a larger underground structure.

The minis shown with the bunker here are from an Imperial Guard Catachan force that Mike collected some years ago.
